The Chatham County Transportation Advisory Committee created the Chatham County Recreational Bike Loop Map in Spring 2014 for the purpose of providing residents and visitors with suggested "loop" routes for recreational bicycling. Each ride begins and ends at the same location. The maps display distances and area with potentially high traffic volumes.
Hard copies of the map were produced courtesy of a grant from Healthy Communities. These grant funds allowed 1,000 maps to be printed and distributed locally.
