The Animal Appeals Board is made up of five positions. Most cases heard by the board relate to reviewing determinations of a dog being classified as dangerous or potentially dangerous. The Animal Appeals Board has hearings based upon request. These hearings typically last up to two hours. A package with case information is sent to Animal Appeal Board members in advance to prepare for hearings.
