QuitSmart Program for Quitting Tobacco/ Nicotine
The QuitSmart program is free a four-week program provided by a Tobacco Treatment Specialist at the Chatham County Public Health Department. Participants receive individualized support, personalized quit plans, two weeks of nicotine replacement patches and program materials, all for free. This program has a higher success rate compared to other stop-smoking programs.

A free service for adults and teens. Clients can call the Quitline number and will be matched up with a trained professional to assist with the quit process (all tobacco products, including cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and e-cigarettes).

The Tobacco Treatment Program’s Tobacco Treatment Specialists offer a comprehensive program, collaborating with patients to develop plans for becoming tobacco-free. These strategies include behavioral strategies, cessation medications, and identification of resources that support tobacco-free living. This program takes insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, and can assist with those who are uninsured.
