This Brooks Creek feasibility study represents an initial step towards planning for a more connected Chatham County. This corridor is one of 14 corridors recommended in the 2019 Chatham County Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan. As an initial study, this plan has not been formally adopted by the Board of Commissioners, nor have funds been allocated for this project. Please note, additional meetings will be held, which will provide for continued community input, prior to any construction activity associated with this project. This study was prepared in response to recommendations presented in Plan Chatham, the County’s 2017 comprehensive Plan. Click here for final report
