The Chatham H.E.A.T. (Healthy Employees Achieving Together, formerly the Chatham County Wellness Committee) is a committee that is made up of county employees from various departments, that want to strengthen our wellness initiatives. The committee meets monthly to discuss new and recurring classes or events, engagement of employees, the marketing and communication of programs and events, community health and wellness activities and other important information.
Chatham County's wellness programming is managed by the Human Resources staff with the assistance of members of Chatham H.E.A.T. Chatham H.E.A.T. offers a variety of activities for employees throughout the year to keep us all active and healthy including wellness challenges, nutrition classes, financial literacy courses, cooking and recipe competitions, an in-house diabetes prevention program and more!
