Chatham County contracts with FirstHealth of the Carolinas to provide County-wide paramedic level EMS services.  A combination of transport ambulances and quick response vehicles (QRV) provide 24/7 service within Chatham County.  During 2023, FirstHealth responded to 8,753 calls for service and transported approximately 5,800 patients.

Serving the Town of Cary
Starting July 8, 2024

Beginning July 8, 2024 at noon, FirstHealth will be the EMS provider for the portions of the Town of Cary within Chatham County.  The map application below highlights that area as well as the location of Chatham EMS stations.
