Emergency Housing Assistance Program

Resources are available for tenants facing a potential eviction. The Emergency Housing Assistance Program through the Department of Social Services provides short-term rental assistance for individuals who need help making rent in certain circumstances. Community Housing Resources

Other county departments and community nonprofits provide support with housing-related costs, including short-term rent and utilities support and assistance in finding work.

County resources:

• Families with children may be eligible for support with rent or utility bills through the Emergency Assistance Program. Eligibility information and requirements are provided through the Department of Social Services.
