Chatham Community Library and the Alzheimer's Association will host a special therapeutic dance program lead by Gabrielle Rivero, Founder and CEO of Express and Release Therapeutic Dance on Thursday, October 10, beginning at 10:00 am in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. Caregivers and their loved ones living with dementia are welcome!
Music, dance and art can enrich the lives of people with Alzheimer's disease. They allow for self-expression and engagement, and can create a sense of accomplishment and purpose, even after dementia has progressed. This state-wide series is intended to bring the arts and their many benefits to caregivers and their loved ones living with dementia.
This program is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged but not required. Registration is available here: https://tinyurl.com/CCLDance
