Families with children ages 2+ are invited to celebrate National Friends of Libraries Week with a special Trick or Treat StoryWalk®! Participants are encouraged to gather at the Chatham Community Library at 4:00 pm and walk the StoryWalk® at their own pace. Volunteers from the Friends of the Chatham Community Library will greet families along the walk with treats for the children. Costumes are encouraged.
National Friends of Libraries Week is held each October and celebrates the contributions of friends groups across the nation. Their dedication to their local libraries leaves a lasting and positive impact on their libraries and their communities.
This event will be held rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather, a rain date will be announced. Free and open to the public. No registration required.
