Join us at the Goldston Public Library for our first indoor plant swap on September 27, 2024!
Starting off the event, author Beatrice Boggs Allen, and Belle Boggs will talk about their new book, Plant Pets. Belle Boggs and Richard Allen will share some tips on growing your own plant pet, and answer questions. MacIntyre's staff will be on site during the event for attendees to purchase their own copy of Plant Pets.
After the book presentation, participants and the Chatham County community are welcome to drop off a plant or cuttings (indoor plants only) and pick up a new plant to take home. There will be a Master Gardener at the event to provide expert care tips and help you pick the right plant for your home. Please ensure that any items brought in are pest-free and labeled, if possible.
This event will take place in the E. M. Harris Jr. Conference Room and is free and open to the public.
