Chatham Community Library, in conjunction with the Chatham County Board of Elections, will hold a voter registration drive on National Voter Registration Day, on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm in the Holmes Family Meeting Room.
Chatham County Board of Elections staff will be onsite to provide free voter ID cards to any registered voter who does not have an acceptable photo ID. They will also provide answers to any questions pertaining to the voting process for the upcoming election on November 5, 2024.
Chatham County Public Libraries joins a coalition of thousands of partners nationwide that will celebrate National Voter Registration Day with a coordinated democracy blitz aimed at getting every eligible American registered to vote in advance of the 2024 election.
This is a nonpartisan event and is free and open to the public.
