Chatham Community Library will host the last of three (3) presentations by the Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association on Tuesday, June 18. These programs are free and open to the public.
Concluding the series is "The Empowered Caregiver: Communicating Effectively", from 10:00-11:00 am in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. As people living with dementia progress in their journey and lose the ability to use words, caregivers can discover new ways to communicate effectively in any stage of the disease. Learn how dementia affects communication, how person-centered approaches can improve communication and much more.
