Once Upon A Time with Steve Somers

Discover the Magic of Reading with Steve Somers as he presents Once Upon a Time, a magical interactive story session based on favorite fairy tales. Using spellbinding tricks, hilarious puppets, music, drama and captivating stories Steve makes visiting the library a thrilling reading adventure!

About Steve Somers, the Amazing Teacher: Steve Somers was five years old when he learned to read. Reading changed his life! Books became treasure troves full of mystery, motivation, and magic. Reading is like exercise for the brain and it vital to being healthy.  That is why he founded Amazing Teacher, an “edutainment” company that blends books, tricks, illusions, drama, puppetry, stories, and music. Since 2006, Steve has performed thousands of shows at schools, libraries, churches, and other organizations. Most of his performances include theatrical lighting, digital sound FX, and custom themed props to support his message. Steve’s mission of "edutainment" is always to "Make Learning Fun"!

This event will take place in the Holmes Family Meeting Room. Free and open to the public. No registration necessary.
