Families with children of all ages are invited to join us for a Story YELLING event with Mr. Scooter! Mr. Scooter's high-energy, interactive performance will have audience members laughing and singing along!

Mr. Scooter is a storyteller, rapper and children’s librarian from Wilmington, North Carolina. He has released two children’s albums as Melvil Dewey – International Library Hip Hop Superstar and is the creator of Book Wrangler and Rap Battle of the Books. Mr. Scooter is a Library Journal Mover and Shaker Innovator and NACO Award winner. His work has been featured in School Library Journal and VOYA Magazine.

This event will be held at the JS Waters Elementary School, in the Multipurpose Room (55 J S Waters School Rd, Goldston, NC 27252). Free and open to the public.
