Join us at the Goldston Public Library to Learn About Food at Your Library with Registered Dietitian, Tara Gregory, from N.C. Cooperative Extension-Chatham County Center. The presentation and food demo will "offer the public an easy way to learn about healthy foods, proper nutrition, and reducing the risk of chronic conditions", and the Charlie Cart Project*, teaching kitchen, will provide "interactive food education to empower Chatham residents in making informed decisions for their health and wellbeing".
Topic is Raising Good Eaters.
This event is free and open to the public.
*The food literacy center grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-252476-OLS-22).
