Learn About Food at Your Library: Know Your Numbers

Ages 16+

Join us at the Goldston Public Library to Learn About Food at Your Library with Chatham County Health Department's Registered Dietitians, Ann Clark and Laura Hearn. The presentation “Know Your Numbers” will focus on several key screenings such as blood sugar (A1C), blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), and cholesterol. The class will talk about the importance of these values and the effect they have on our heath.

February 13 topic is Know Your Numbers.

This event is free and open to the public.

*The food literacy center grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-252476-OLS-22).
