Learn About Food at Your Library: Healthy Eating to Lower Blood Pressure

Ages 16+

Join us at Wren Memorial Library to Learn About Food at Your Library with Chatham County Health Department's Registered Dietitian, Ann Clark. The presentation will "offer the public an easy way to learn about healthy foods, proper nutrition, and reducing the risk of chronic conditions", and the Charlie Cart Project*, teaching kitchen, will provide "interactive food education to empower Chatham residents in making informed decisions for their health and wellbeing."

January's topic is Healthy Eating to Lower Blood Pressure.

This event is free and open to the public.

*The food literacy center grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number LS-252476-OLS-22).
