ecoEXPLORE is an incentive-driven citizen science program for NC kids in grades K-8. Participants explore nature by photographing wild living things they find and earn prizes and badges as they share their photos with scientists. Join us to learn how to get started with ecoEXPLORE! After a brief introduction to ecoEXPLORE and the Ornithology (Bird) Season, we’ll head outside to practice making a good observation. Snap a photo and upload it to your ecoEXPLORE account and you can earn your first badge before you leave!
Come dressed ready to go outside and bring a camera (phone cameras works great!) for this fun and interactive program.
This program will be held in the Holmes Meeting Room. No registration necessary. Free and open to the public.
