Laura Heise Chair of the Chatham County Board of Elections has determined based on information from NC DHHS and the CDC that it is highly inadvisable to hold the Board of Elections meeting scheduled on August 17, 2021, and future Board of Elections meetings with in-person attendance by the public to protect the board, staff, and citizens from the potential spread of the COVID-19 Delta Variant, which is very contagious. The board will resume meetings with public attendance when it is deemed safe to do so. In the meantime join our meeting virtually via GoToMeeting (meeting information is below).
