A recount will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 8:00 am at the Chatham County Board of Elections Office located at 984 Thompson Street, Suite F, Pittsboro, NC 27312. If the recount is not completed by 6:00 pm, Thursday, November 19 it will continue Friday, November 20 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Recounts will take place for the following offices:

• County Commissioner- District 5
• N.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice- Seat 1

Residents will not be allowed to attend the recount in-person due to current gathering restrictions due to COVID-19. Public input or disruptions during the recount will not be allowed.
