Need help researching your family history? A volunteer genealogist is available to assist with family history research, whether your ancestors lived in Chatham County, the 50 states, or overseas.

While the library is closed, meetings are provided virtually via video chat. Appointments are available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Thursdays. (Other days and times may be available by request.) Request an appointment online.
