The calendar below provides information on scheduled meetings of the following:

  • Planning Board
  • Appearance Commission
  • Transportation Advisory Committee
  • Affordable Housing Advisory Committee 

It also includes deadlines related to rezonings and subdivisions as well as when the Board of County Commissioners is slated to hold public hearings on planning/zoning issues.

Planning Board Subcommittee- Unzoned Portions of the County


Notice is hereby given that a subcommittee of the Chatham County Planning Board has scheduled a meeting on Tuesday, June 24th 2014. The meeting will be held in the Dunlap Classroom, located within the Dunlap Building at 80 East Street in Pittsboro, NC starting at 2:00 P.M. Please note the entrance to the classroom is to the rear of the building.


The purpose of the meeting is to review and make recommendations on the unzoned portion of the county.  


The meeting is open to the public.
